Dear Petitioner:

Over two hundred years, the U.S. government has repeatedly denied the American people the right to be governed by a constitution that should evolve around the American people and not the people around the American laws, and that tenure of Supreme Court justices, senatorial appointments and confirmations, and Congressional unlimited term limits disallow voter ability—the right to choose “how and when” their laws, policies, procedures, and regulations should be amended and ratified, and “who” we should elect to amend and ratify them. This is especially true when appointments and confirmations are made without the American voter; and as a result, the Congressional body politic refuses to place the interests of the American people before their congressional interests in being re-elected, impeached, and removed.

The main U.S. congressional reason for American citizens to sign the petition:

CMACFAR | iCitizen Congress is committed to holding the government accountable for adhering to all enumerated principles, procedures, and practices as prescribed in the U.S. Constitution.

CMACFAR opposes the selective application of the rule of law.

Below is a list—though not exhaustive—demonstrating instances where the United States government has shown congressional adherence to the Constitution through various provisions. If Congress is capable of following certain prescribed tasks, duties, and procedures, then we, as a government under Article V, can likewise follow the required procedures to schedule and execute a constitutional convention.

Article II, Sec. 1, Cl. 8 requires the United States government under oath to “…preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” which is constitutional. Moreover, whenever the American people bear witness to elected officials, congressional leaders, and state representatives, who are sworn to uphold their constitutional duties under law, they are in effect taking an oath to preserve the unconstitutionality of the “supreme law of the land.” Nonetheless, our elected officials are protecting conflicting articles, amendments, and ambiguous provisions and clauses, while preserving the United States Constitution before defending the American people.

You are signing your name into history as the first generation of American voters to require their congressional governments to schedule constitutional conventions under Article V as a matter of law and civic duty. Your American signatory will constitute the official authority of “We the People” to become the most essential part of redefining our U.S. democracy by holding the government responsible under the United States Constitution and accountable to the American people.
